yes do a search there is a bunch of threads about this. im in the middle of doing the same thing to my 86 ta right now. but then again im also puting a 455 in my ta under that shaker.

 

yes there a few out thre who have put a functional one on..and soem are in the process..all i say is do the homework on the scoops first..i still havent found one yet because i havent finished the motor yet..you will need your motor to be able to know what scoop so that way the spcing towards the back of the hood is ok..

 

Yep, the 2nd gens had Pontiac and Olds engines as well as the big turd 301 turbo so the scoops have different bases which will locate the scoop in different places comming thru the hood.

 

Some also had 305 Chevys too IIRC, but I don't know if they came with shakers.

 

Turbo 301 T/A's never came with a shaker.
They came with the hood blister.

 

Thats correct. I was just giveing examples of the diff. engines avaliable in the 2nd gen TA's. To get the shaker scoop you had to have a 455/400 Pontiac or 403 Olds.
The hood blisters had idiot lights on the end up by the windshield also.
