AC mig welder
Would I beable weld say Aluminum or any metal better if I had a MIG welder that could weld with AC?
I weld gassless flux core steel, Argon shealded Steel, SS, Al and Titanium with my MIG welder. Would I beable to any of these better with AC?
I think FCAW welding could do better, I use to FCAW stick weld. I know that Al likes AC with a TIG, but then the good TIG's use a scewed modified sign wave and is far from a normal AC sign wave like the FCAW stick welder uses.

You can run it on dc to weld aluminum, but you either need a spool gun, or you need to have as short of welding lead as possible. I would not go any longer than 10 feet and that is streching it. And you need 100% argon in your bottle. And you need special aluminum wire.
