where to buy poly bushings?

where to buy poly bushings?

i am going to do up a set of lca's instead of paying for some tubular ones. i was curious to where i can find some poly bushings for them and about how much they cost.

You mean box them? That's what I did, easy, 1/8" thick 1.25" wide I think, steel plate...

The bushings are about $60 for the set of 4. I was going to special order them from Canadian tire or Parts Source, so you should be able to find them at an Autozone or something...
Removing the old bushings is... well, tricky, I drilled the crap out of them until I just pushed them out, but putting new ones in should be done with a press, which is the stage i'm at.

oh, i'm going with Energy Suspension brand bushings, actually, I have the p/n right next to me as I was going to buy them this week:
3.3136R = red, G as the suffix is black, and I heard the black is not just black colored poly...(uh, propylene?) but polygraphite...

thanks very much for the info and part number!

and yes, i mean box them. already did one set that is on the car right now, and they aren't done very well, so i am going to do another set.

polygraphite is supposed to be self lubicating, therby eliminating squeeks, but that's just what I heard, who knows, it might just be a different dye to color it, then it's just color preference.
