has anyone ever tried this??
i see so many cracked dash pads just wondering if anyone has just made a mold and fiblerglassed one or just glassed on top of the cracked one and painted it?? seems like a good idea just never really thought it would be easy for me to learn or cost effective as i know id mess up the first oh thousand or so.

i've thought about it and plan to do it but that's been a plan for a while now that hasn't received any action.

there was a guy at superchevy show that had a "cap'', i'd call it that painted body color heres a pic maybe help you out, dont know if it was custom or he bought it somewhere but it looked great, it was layed over his factory pad...Didn't get his contact info before we left, but if i ever get ahold of him i will find out
