i know this is an old thread and you probably dont care anymore but... through trial and erreor i discovered that if you heat the tail light lense the grid comes off, i wasnt trying to remove the grid so i didnt actually get it all off but if you have a junk set it may be something to try...
Cause eventually the black grid separates from the plastic and then looks like crap. If I leave my T/A out in the sun during the winter and wait a little bit, I can hear the separation, little krackles.

Does anyone know if there is a way to fix the seperating grids? One of mine is starting to seperate a little bit and it looks kind of nasty.
This might work: Try using a heat gun to that area, maybe you can reheat the epoxy/glue that holds on the grid and force that glue to turn back to a liquid form. Might not work though, I've never tried it. If it gets worse, then stop.

DO NOT HEAT THE TAIL LIGHT!!! as i mentioned before heat makes the grid pull away from the lense! i have found no was to fix the light other then buy a different set, there are usually good sets on ebay for sale.
