firebird rear bumper on camaro
i have a 89 camaro rs now i got one of those rear lighted valances that goes between the taillights after removing the license plate and black trim for the lights it looks good (have to get pics up) but for now i have the license plate just screwed to the rear bumper i was wondering if it would be possible to mount a firebird rear bumper there or would it be easier to get like a license plate mount kit from like a custum truck place and mold that into the plastic bumper. i know the firebird bumper comes up about 3 incehes short on the sides cause the taillights dont wrap around.
thanks

the firebird rear bumper is about 1" wider on either side. you'll need to do some fab work either way. it's pretty much six in one and 1/2 dozen in the other...though i'd think that the mini-truck custom plate deal molded into the rear bumper would be pretty trick.

if you do fab up the sport truck licence plate mount just make sure it is straight not crooked like the import morons do
Re: firebird rear bumper on camaro
I plan on putting a firebird bumper on a camaro, as a custom build. We are doing it as a fund raiser School project. see pictures updated weekly at autoshop.centralvermontacademy.org Speakers on!
We are keeping the firebird tail lights too. We are doing this because we found a rust free dent free Camaro to start with, but Firebirds are better looking. The firebird parts car we have is all rotted out.
