"89"RS W/Berlinetta nose/"82"z28 airdam ?

My car is stock "89" RS Camaro, body & ground effects, except for the front nose piece. the previous owner banged up the nose and replaced it with an "82" Berlinetta .I like it allot and want to keep it(I like the air slots) but it looks unfinished without a front spoiler/valance. You can still see the mounting slots gust screaming for one.Heres my idea, I held up a 1982 z28 front valance to the bottom of the Berlinetta nose piece and "bam" There it was. Only off buy about 1/2 in around, but tucked in real nice, over lapping on the sides like a standard valance.Of course you will have to secure it all the way around but looks real nice over-all with the Berlinetta air slots and also the vertical slots on the front of the "82" z28 valance. Can you picture it? And have you ever seen it done? I only held it up to the bottom for a minute because the guy selling it was in a hurry and wanted $200.00 for the beat-up airdam.I had to pass at that time.Still looking for one.

i can imagine it would look pretty neat, though i'm not sure how you would attach it as the berlinetta/sportcoupe front bumper covers have no provisions to mount a lower valance.

I'm sot real sure about that, would be a little to "busy" on the front for me, but then again it's your's and not mine! If I had only know a few months ago, I just sold the whoel front nose cone off of my 84 z. Good luck with the project though.
