hmm a quick question idea.

Ok so i though of this last night.. no idea what it would do though... Ok so that heat wrap stuff you put on liek headers and such...It keeps the heat it and away from everything else... So say you have liek a cold air intake tube right... If you wrapped it in that hgeat wrap would it make it hotter air or would it keep engine heat away from the pipe?... Soo.. If it keeps it cooler then bam a colder cold air intake.. but i dont know if it would keep it colder or make it hotter.

well sure, like yea, i mean like it would like work, but it probably would not like, you know, like do enough to see any like performance gains and stuff.

yes it would insulate the tube and keep hot air out, but i think performance gains would be marginal at best, not worth the price of the wrap and the time involved in doing it. it would look pretty bad too.
