Wasnt sure where to put this but I hope this is an ok place.

I want to pull the entire doors hinge's and all off my 90 Bird and put them on my 83 Trans Am. The Trans am doors are all manual, no power, and the 90 Bird door are fully power, so are there any differences as far as hinges or fitment that i should know about, and when I do the swap, I know I will need the center console which I want in my 83 anyway, it has the switch's, but what else do I need to pull off the 90 to make the power windows work. I'm not concerned about the power locks but if I had those too that would be a bonus.

the main reason I wanna do this is because the window on driver side is messed up and wont adjust right, the actuator is messed up, and the hinge is wallowed out. I tried to replace the bushings and such but its the hinge itself and not the bushings that are the problem and my 90 Bird has good doors and hinges are in good shape, so hopefully this will be a fairly direct swap other than the wiring which I dont have a problem with.

The doors are pretty much identical, you'd just have to worry about the electrical issues.

Yeah, the big thing would just be getting your wires right. Take your time and follow the wires throughout your car. You may need to drop the dash off if you want the wires to follow stock routing. Remember, I just said drop it, not completely remove it. If you do choose this method, you might as well do the locks too. Again, just follow all wires.

I have done this swap in reverse.

Having a parts car there will make it easier for you to wire the windows and door locks, and you will be able to make it look factory.
