Sump question

I just bought a new tank and a comp engineering sump was wondering if you guys welded it on with a mig and if so how did you do it? Weld a few inches at a time and jump around to keep it cool? Any advice on how to weld it and where the best location for it will be is appreciated. Especially if any one has pictures or the location on the tank were they welded it as well. Also should I keep the factory breather and I have seen people weld on a AN fitting to the factory feed line is this a good idea for a return line? Thanks for the help.

Re: Sump question

first question is what condition is the factory lines, or are they new? Im quite sure the factory feed line is a 3/8" od tube, you can use this http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/100550/10002/-1
or this

if the line is in good shape.

as for the sump, i believe xplndbl3 has a sumped stock tank, maybe pm him
