Re: floor pans

Classic should have them for your year. They have them for my 88.Get out your wallet though everyone is proud of them, then you get stuck with the truck freight shipping charges.I am needing only the drivers side.Once I figured in shipping I have now found a couple of leads on whole cars for about $150 more than just a floor pan.

Re: floor pans

my advice is to go around to body shops in your area. bullshit with the guys that work there and see if they can order them for you. they get discounts from suppliers so you never know it may work out in your favor. when i buddy of mine did his he went around to shops until he found one that would order them for him, got them for half of what year one wanted. idk just a thought

Re: floor pans

yah i found year one and a couple others, expensive as hell, my passanger side was done by th epeople i bough my car from and its sloppy, and my driver side, is from just before teh seat to the peddles, i put a piece of sheet metal down and screwed it in and put sealer on it. cheap fix, but not the same, idk i might just not glue the carpet all the way in that way, if i do get new pans, i can change it easy

Re: floor pans

I'd always try the least expensive methods 1st. I forgot about that truck shipping. They really nail you with that.

Re: floor pans

yah my driver side, from just before the seat until the peddles, is done with diamond sheet metal, .25 gage, idk it was like 20 bucks for a sheet at ace hard ware. i sealed it with sealer and screwed it in.

Re: floor pans

ya..sorry but i can't see putting that much money into some flimsy metal pans...makes ur car the most stock, but how much does the floor actually mean to you? I paid my friends dad $10 to cut out the bad sections and weld some thick @$$ metal plates in place, i just sealed it up with some silicone later
$399 vs. $10

Re: floor pans

I'm in Arizona and I have a couple of parts cars that have perfect floors. I can cut them out using mostly a plazma cutter for perfect edges. $100 a side.

Probably get the Greyhound to ship them for less the $100

Re: floor pans

Yep, pretty good. Nothing rots here in Arizona so besides a rock chip or two the pans are really nice. So are the quarters, doors, tail panels, gas tanks ect. I can get pics if you want them

Re: floor pans

Here are some pics. Mostly to show how clean and rust free the red car is.

The floors quarters and roof ect are in excellent conditions. (too bad it's wrecked in the front)
