Fuel Line Install
Hello, how you all doing on this fine night? Its been a while since ive been on the forums, had to take a break from working on the car for a while. Anyway, I am going to install new fuel lines soon and I had a couple questions that I hope someone can answer for me.
1. What am I getting myself into? More than I think?
2. What exactly are "Pre-Fitted" lines, it doesn't mean that they are already bent to the correct contours for the car does it? If it does, that will make me happy.
3. If that is not what they are, what will i need to bend them myself?
I really appreciate this, like i said.. it has been a while since ive been on here, sorry if I put this in the wrong place. And my mind hasnt been in car mode for a while, so if I asked anything ovbious just ignore it
.
Thanks!

Re: Fuel Line Install
the pre-fitted lines are probably pre-bent lines. They are bent to match the factory lines, but are usually folded in half for shipping purposes. they will probably need to be tweaked a little to fit, nothing big.
You will most likely need to remove the trans if your lines run in the passengerside of the engine compartment. If they run on the driverside, you can probably get them in by just removing the trans crossmember. A lift would make things a lot easier too.
I would highly recommend replacing the lines with stainless hardlines instead of the OE steel lines. That way they will never need to be replaced again.
