Threadserts FYI
After seeing an article in PHR on using threadserts on the project Laguna I set out to find these, While shopping at Menards I found they sell the tool and aluminum inserts. $9.99 for the tool and 4 different size inserts, and packages of 50 additional inserts for approx. $5-$6 Great for small projects.

Re: Threadserts FYI
Never heard 'em called "threadserts" before, they generally go by the name "Rivnuts." Quite commonly used in aircraft. If you plan on using 'em I'd recommend getting the keyed ones, nothing worse than trying to take out a screw and having the rivnut spin with it.
