Okay, please ignore the link in the pics below--it was for a page I was working on nearly 10 years ago, but I never finished it or made it look good enough to launch. Here are some pics that show you exactly where the ground effects bolt up:

This Stud slips through a hole just before the rear tire.

This is the hole that the stud slips through in front of the rear tire.

This is where the nut is bolted onto the stud on the rocker panel. It is necessary to remove the plastic panel that the seat belt slides through next to the back passenger seat to access it.

These two screws go into the body in back of the front tire.
The IROC-Z, Z-28, or RS emblem needs to be removed before the panel can be mounted.

The rocker panel also bolts to the body under the car.
That should do it for you on seeing where/how the ground effects bolt up. Sorry again for the links in the pics. The originals were lost on a hard drive crash, so I couldn't get to the pics without the links.
These pics were from an 86 IROC-Z.

Re: 85 camaro side skirt
the pics are good but my problem is that i believe the 91 had some type of metal bracket that was welding under the car and that is what the panels bolt to.. but i'm not sure only way to find out is to take mine of and try the 91's if i need to i will fab a new bracket thx

Re: 85 camaro side skirt
should have a small metal strip welded the length of door and an extra wide version bolted to that then the rocker panel GFX.
