pros & cons of aftermarket TAs and ladder bars
pros & cons of aftermarket TAs and ladder bars
I'm in the process of putting a new rear end in my camaro and was wondering how everyone's experience with them was. I will be putting coil overs on also

im guessing TA is for tourque arm? if so ive got a sphon adjustable trans xmember mounted one and love it. and by ladder bars, to you mean lower control arms?
dont think this blongs in the fab section though, needs to be in the product review section.

Re: pros & cons of aftermarket TAs and ladder bars
If your new rear end is going to installed with ladder bars then you won't need a torque arm or Lower Control Arms but will need to do a bunch of floor fabrication work to install ladder bars.
An aftermarket torque arm and LCA offer more stiffness and adjustability over OEM components. Poly bushings are much better over soft and squishy factory rubber bushings. Rod ends are even better but are noisy for street use and wear out faster.
Cons to aftermarket components? Price.
