custom hood repair?

custom hood repair?

Hi, i have a nice 1980s hood for my 85z.The only problem is its in rough shape,so i was wondering if anyone knew how exactly to clean up a fiber glass hood.You know like sanding technique etc.

well thiers a couple small holes,and the paint is fading.I was just wondering if anyone knew the correct way of going about doing that.

Small holes, like pinholes- identical to normal body work. bigger stuff, use glass reenforced filler or even bigger, lay up new glass...
