how much should a suspension upgrade cost?

I own a 1991 Camaro RS, dunno if it matters but its a 305 V8, it has the stock suspension, just its getting bad, i know i need a new a arm, pitmans, all that good stuff. i need bushings, struts, might as well replace the springs too. Anyone have any idea on how much it would cost for a full suspension upgrade?

Labor costs excluded, replacing al the steering wear parts will cost a couple hundred in materials, and go with good quality stuff, moog or equivilent. Spring kits are anywhere from 2 to 3 hundred depending on what they are, stock or drop. Shocks and struts are a different stock. You can go bwith a cheap basic replacement which will do well in a daily car for a little over a hundred or so for all four, or and they go up from there to the koni/bilsteins which are toward the top of the overcounter performance line at around 7 8 hundred for all four.

Depends on your budget and if you are doing work yourself. Labor cost at a shop will be more that the cost of the parts, especially if you do springs and bushings.

You can always pull your A arm out and have a shop press in the new A arm bushings in. I got mine put in at a little shop he also put in New moog ball joints and cleaned it up for 25$ an arm. It was worth not having to fight with the stupid thing.
