Functional Shaker Hood

I know this is probably a stupid question but I have seen a few threads on here where people have made shaker hoods but has anyone made a functional shaker for a TPI setup? I have ideas on how to do it but I would like to see in anyone has done it to get a little more inspiration.

Re: Functional Shaker Hood

Take a look at what the second gen LS swaps are doing. I recall seeing one where someone took the air filter box from a Durango or Ram, something like that, and used the base to attach to the shaker scoop and then ran some flex-hose from the base of the filter box to the throttle body.

Re: Functional Shaker Hood

There is a guy in England who did a carbed LS swap in his 78 T/A and his shaker hood goes right on his carb intake like the factory one did.

There is another guy in a 3rd Gen, David Bryden is his name. Did a shaker hood on his 88. It's not functional, he just fabbed up a braket over his motor that it sits on so it "shakes".

Pontiac Owners Club UK, link is in my Signature.

Check out Trans Am Country, it was one of the guys there. If I could remember exactly where it was I'd post the link for you.
