vacuum pump mounting..who's done it?
looking at mounting a vac pump.. at this point looks like bolting it to a front eng plate lower driver side..(under power steering pump) if I don't go Rack/pinon. Just to add vac pump..
alt is on pass side..power steering on driver side...moroso makes a braket that bolts to a eng plate.. thinking of going with it...as long as I can get it to fit under the power steering pump.
then use there parts to mount to crank..
I think I can get it in there
anybody do anything like this..? the lower 3 bolt holes on the driver side eng are open at this time..

I use a crank mandrel and run 3 different belts. One for the vacuum pump, one for the fuel pump and one for the alternator. Alternator is flipped around backwards because it was the only way I could make it fit.
Not sure if they have a low mount installation kit. Depending on the position, the steering box may be in the way.

(eng) ya it will be run off the crank w/ mandral also..i would like to keep the set up/brackets I have now..but if I have to I can do what it takes.. from what I see the pumps bolt to the eng plate flat..if so I can make something work..
