I haven't made composites in years, but I found a deal on carbon, so I've got a couple rolls coming, and I'm looking at molding the door skins as well as a couple other small parts I need. I've used System 2000, but that stuff is pricey and likely stronger than I need.

Searching around, it looks like lots of people using West 105/207 on cars, which seems like a bad idea to me. That epoxy has a Tg of 116F, and I like being able to park in the sun without the body melting off my car.

Anyone have recommendations for epoxies that are somewhat heat tolerant, and cheaper than System 2000? I'm going to vacuum bag the parts but I don't have access to an autoclave. I can build a curing oven if needed.

I use composite envisions for carbon and resin. Great products and prices.

I use West Systems epoxy. The wing on my track car used West Systems and has been subjected to 100 + summer days for years with no problems.
