visual diffrence?

how could u tell what tranny u have by looking at it under the car?
my friend just got a iroc and was wondering if it a 700 or something else. anyone got some up pics of a th350?

Transmission: So close to being a manual I can taste it
The biggest difference is the oil pan.

I have two 700-r4's and their pans are flat and smooth, but have the same perimeter and bolt pattern as the picture.

I got those pics from the summit catalog. THose are aftermarket extra capacity pans. I guess they have cooling fins as well. Sorry for the confusion, I should have said the shape and bolt pattern were what I was looking at.
