Is there any way to use a T-5 from a M*stang in my Third Gen?
Is there any way to use a t5 from a mustang in my 90 firebird?
t5's from v8 gm cars are not to be found in my area but the mustang ones are cheap and plentiful, can they be used?
Someone told me you can use them you just need the gm bellhousing. Sounds too good to be true.
Are the input shafts the same? If so could I take the guts from a ford t5 and put it in a gm v6 case?

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
The only thing the **** T5 has in common with our T5's is five forward gears.
Input shaft length, diameter, and spline is different; cases are different, having no provision for mounting the torque arm; etc....
