testing the waters... 1987 Firebird T5 Roller
I have a 1987 firebird LG4 T5 that I am looking to sell. I bought it and started to build up a 383 stroker, but lost interest.
Heres my cardomain page to view it: 1987 Pontiac Firebird - Derek's Pontiac
Its in pretty good shape. Not near perfect, but good for its age. I re-did the interior black and red, and painted the outside black above the original red. I did that because the roof, trunk, and hood were faded, and I didnt have the cash to pay for a new paint job.
The only real problem is... It doesnt have an engine. There is a 305 in the engine bay, but I'm pretty sure its shot. I know it needs a clutch too.
Other than that, it is a good running car. And i have about 95% of the engine parts that I took out.
I paid $1800 for the car when it was running, but it didnt make it very far cause the headgasket was rigged in there somehow so that I could test drive it, and not know that it was blown.
I've put about $1500 into it. Which included:
Replaced rear hatch window (original was cracked... $150)
replaced all 4 tires ($300)
Taillight covers ($50)
paint inside and outside ($200)
various interior panels ($200)
red carpet ($100)
new hood shocks ($40)
pioneer speakers all around ($200)
sony head unit ($150 3 years ago)
I know theres a few more things, but I cant remember off hand.
I would really like to get $2500. But I may consider other offers.
