I have a 83 DT500 Hard top. i bought it gutted with the hopes of restoring it. Not gonna happen now.
Good stuff: Body straight as 83 can be, rear drivers side quater rusty around the wheel well. has all aero ground effects intact, Functional cowl induction hood. Good tail lights. Doors are just ok, a little rust on the corners.
The Bad: drive train is gone, the center counsel is from automatic and seats are from a camaro.
The Ugly: the guy i bought it from thought it would be better to paint this car metallic blue.
I checked the vin and rpo tag. This was a Hard top, 5-speed, carburated V8(LG4) it was 1 of 37 with these options. Kind of a rare car if it was togther. will sell whole car or part out. will consider all offers
Will trade for complete nose for 86 or 87 camaro standard nose, or complete black interior for 82-92 camaro. Might be interested in other camaro stuff if you have it. willing to deliver any where in north east for reasonable charge. Please E-mail mankind76@netzero.net for questions or pics
