Hey guys, I'm trying to sell my 1986 T/A and I'm curious as too how much I could sell the bird for. Between the hood which I was offered 700 - 1000 for and the tranny offered 500. I figured 1000 - 1500 would be fine. I'm actually just trying to get enough to buy and insure a motorcycle.

Oh BTW the motor either needs rebuilding or replacement.

 

if somebody offered you 700-1000 for the hood, by all means sell them the hood!!! Thats an outrageous price for a glass cowl hood, beings you can buy them new for about 4 or so.

Selling a car with a shot motor is always tricky.
Try 1500 and see what heppens.

No, it's the r700.

The hood weighs probably about 60lbs or less considering I can handle it myself and 75lbs is hard for me, LOL.

i think so. Its a hardtop, whoch would make a nice drag car, and from the pic it seems to be in good shape.

Like i said before, ask 1500 obo and see what happens

 

I vote $400-700 tops. Looks like it had rust issues, looks like a rot hole opened up above the ground effects on the door in that picture.... If it ran and didnt need a new engine already I would say 1000-1500..
