Im looking to possibly trade my Pontiac GTP in favor of a Formula..I dont know if there will be any interest here,but incase there is,I copied and pasted below from another forum its posted on.This is the perfect oppurtunity to stay in a Pontiac with high performance potential,,more practical,,and more room to boot....Im in no hurry to get rid of my GTP as it is an awesome car,and Im only willing to trade up for a very specific car..

What Im looking for--87-92 Formula FI 350(no 305s)..5/6spd and t-tops preffered,,but will consider auto also..Car must be extremely clean and in great running condition..Midified is fine as long as its not a hackjob NO PROJECTS..My car is no project and Im not looking for one in return..If there is any interest,,lemme know..If not,,I hope to be back to purchase one of your Formulas in the future..Thanks..

Ive decided to put my 98GTP up for sale because of interests in another vehicle.I am the second owner of this very well kept car and I will do my best to describe it as best as I can.Be aware that this is not just another GTP with fancy wheels on it.I have went through the entire vehicle throughout the course of my ownership.This car is well sorted out.All upgrades and maintanance have been done within the last year.The car has a clean Carfax and has always been takin care of.Dont let the miles fool you.This car has just started life I have spent plenty of man hours, money,and busted knuckles to get it to where it is now .Although I like this forum,I am a little older then most here @32 and drive my car with respect.It was never beat on or raced at a racetrack.A few upgrades were done only to enhance the cars performance a little bit.Also,,I have documented receipts of everything that Ive done that will come with the car.If there are any questions afterwords,just ask..

Basics--98 Silvermist GTP coupe,power everything,all options except sunroof,139k.

Exterior--As this car is normally waxed twice a month,the paint on this vehicle shines brightly.There are no signs of clearcoat or paint fading anywhere..All bodypanels line up.There are no scratches anywhere..There are no dings,dents,or rust anywhere.The only exterior blemishes I found noticable are a very small indentation right near the rear license plate,and maybe some tiny rock chips on the very front facia.The car sits on fully chromed 18x8 Damani Vanquish rims with that dont have a single scratch/and brand new Hankook tires..Some other exterior appearance extras it has include a brand new set of Black headlights with clear corners and Silverstar bulbs.The windows are tinted with 5% all around without any bubbles.The car is lowered but I will describe that below.The cars exterior really looks good and I would give it a 9 out of 10..an 8 if your extremely picky..

Interior--The interior of the car is in awesome shape.There are no rips,holes,stains,or heavy wear anywhere on the interior.All common GP interior leaks have been addressed with new firewall weatherstripping,and new trunk spoiler gaskets.All gauges work as they should and no warning lights are lit on the gauge cluster.The interior has some nice extras like a 2 5/8 liquid filled Autometer vac/boost gauge,and an Aeroforce OBD2 scanner that moniters all important engine functions.It is mounted in the panel below the HVAC unit and installed neatly .The sounds come from a Pioneer DEH-P77000MP CD/CDR/WMA player.It has a cool blue animated screen and pushes new Panasonic door and deck speakers.The interior is really clean.I give it a 9 out of 10..

Drivetrain--Heres where it gets fun..When I bought this car it ran perfect..But I tore into the engine anyway..The entire top half of the engine has been freshened up.This car was gonna be my daily driver and I wanted the piece of mind knowing the headgaskets and the rest of the motor would hold up.The heads were removed and sent out to be cleaned up.Full valve job along with valve stems/seals were installed during the cleanup..The motor was reassembled with all new gaskets and plenty of other things were done while in there also..

Overkill PCM specificly tuned to this vehicle
4"cold air intake with K&N cone
New W-Body Store Modular Pulley System with 3.4 pulley
New Denso 02 sensor with rear 02 spoof
New Autolite 104s with MSD 9mm ignition wires
New Ohio Autoworx 3"catless downpipe with U-bend and resonator delete
New W-Body Store Solid lower engine and trans mounts/Flipped stock uppers
New idler pulley with new Goodyear Gatorback serpentine belts
New 180dg thermostat to work with Overkill PCM,,ect..

This car has been ran on Mobil1 its entire life.It does NOT overheat,smoke,leak,tic,spit,sputter,or do anything its not supposed to do.It starts up hot or cold without a glitch.The Trans has had 2 trans services in the last 2 years and shifts smooth and crisp.The cooling system has been fully flushed twice during my ownership and refilled with new fluid..This car is my daily driver and the drivetrain on this car is rock solid. I would trust driving it anywhere..10 out of 10...

Suspension/Brakes--The suspension on the car has been went through with a fine tooth comb.The car sits on the following items--

18x8 Damani Vanquish Chromes with new Hankooks
Springtech 1"drop springs
New KYB GR2s all around
New GM strut isolator mounts
New Timkin front hub assemblies
New Moog inner and outer Tie rod ends
New Moog lower ball joints
New GM rack and control arm bushings
New Front/rear drilled and slotted rotors with Ceramic pads
All new brake calipers on all 4 corners..Not rebuilds!!!

This car drives rock solid without any slop or vibrations in the steering.It steers and stops as it should and does not rattle when going over uneven surfaces..With the lowering springs it does pogo a little but not to bad..The suspension/steering is a 10 out of 10..

The price is $6000FIRM and not a penny less..I will give it a week on here before it goes to Ebay..If it doesnt sell I would be fine with keeping it.Remember,this car needs nothing..Get in it and go.Dont get stuck buying a 4k GTP to come and find out it needs tons of work....Anyone interested should e-mail me direct at Mitsumark@optonline.net I will not respond to tons of questions asked on this forum.The car is in central NJ and can be veiwed anytime on the weekends..Thanks for your time..
