im looking for a trans am, i really would love to get my hands on a late 80's bird, but as long as its a 3rd gen i'd be happy.. im looking for a project or just a car someone doesnt want anymore.. free would be great.. or really cheap, just let me know what year, cond., miles, just the basic info.. thanks

 

Where are you located in Ohio, I am in Cincy. I have an 88 T/A. It needs paint, exhaust, and a headliner. I do not know much about the car, I was going to make it a project for winter but I have changed directions. It is a 305 TPI Auto. It has PW PL PM and I think WS6. I am asking 1200.

Not an 80's TA, but did u see the 91 R.S. in toledo? he's askin 500.

 

i had a 91 rs camaro, i sold it a few months back, im sorry to the camaro fans but the third gen Trans am's are better.. i tried to settle for a camaro and it just wasnt the same lol.. i guess i just miss the T/a i had in highschool lol

 

I'll give you a deal on mine if you're willing to come tow it home from Pottsville, PA. Probably about 6-8 hours from Ohio.


Needs some work on the motor. Maybe cam/lifters adjusted. New crank/rods. Needs new belts. A battery.

However...in it's current state....once you get it fired...it hauls ***! Just don't let it stall on you or you're screwed. =P

It's black, with nice t-tops. Iroc trans and rear end. Iroc wheels.

thats the link to the red t/a,the black one is a friends' firebird im trying to sell....the black one has timing problems and might need the carb rebuild.
...the red one dosnt have a engine or trans and needs floors....both are good project cars if thats what your looking for....let me know what u thing, he really needs to sell the black 86, sent an offer and he will problely take it. needs to pay rent, and he cant drive it b/c of his back.
