Looking for nice thirdgen
I am looking for a nice third gen. Price range? Let me know what you have
These are the options I am looking for.
Posi rear disc brake
AC must be on the car
Will only take a 305 if its a stick
No RS's
would like to stay in the later years 90-92 Camaro
Up to 90 Firebirds, I dont like the later 91-92 Firebirds
No rust, if it just needs paint thats fine, dont want a complete restore.

To the OP, you have a PM on a really good deal! I'm asking also that you come to see it and drive it to experience the feeling of a nice cruiser.

All4u, did you say "cruiser"? If you are selling the "brusier crusier" you must be insane! I thought I told you two years ago that if you are selling Bruiser, I had dibs on it, remember? PM me ASAP!

Re: Looking for nice thirdgen
He probably wants a MAF car or maybe likes the look of the late 80's front bumper without those huge holes in it.

Re: Looking for nice thirdgen
To update, sorry to the OP but I'm in the process of getting all4u's "cruiser" before you. I don't mean to jack it from you but I know the details on the car and you wouldn't believe it if I told you. The car looks stock but there is no joke, at least 8k in upgrades alone. Sorry.
Re: Looking for nice thirdgen

Re: Looking for nice thirdgen
I didn't buy the car because I'm losing my garage while it gets remodeled. The car is yours but one hint of caution, ask him to open and close the flipscreen because I've never seen it closed. That to me seems odd. Why install a flipscreen and never close it? Why not get a regular Jensen screen or something? Hmm, sounds fishy but good luck with the sale. Lots of kudos to me for welding in his subframe connectors and setting the angle of his torque arm. I know for a fact that thousands has been poured into that thing and he never drives it, perfect, someone else does all the work and I buy it and enjoy it! Too bad my garage will take till next summer to complete. If you are interested, I have a 93 geo metro automatic that I need to get rid of, and also a 86 Fiero GT fastback that looks great. All toys must go before the garage goes bye bye. Only the Grand Prix daily driver stays.

Re: Looking for nice thirdgen
Um, yeah, before you talk trash about my car, the screen works fine and does open and close perfect. The reason I didn't get a regular screen is that a double din won't fit without a ton of modification.
Second thing is, I do drive it, it has seen about 3200 miles last year. It gets driven alot but that is why I keep up with it. I understand that isn't alot of mileage but it doesn't just sit there and rot. Please don't talk down on a car and say that it sounds fishy until you see it yourself. I never heard again from the OP so maybe he isn't interested. I was going to send him pics but never got his email. Whatever, I'm cool with it. I'll just keep dropping money into it.

Re: Looking for nice thirdgen
Wow, dude, come on, relax. Two things about your car. First, I have seen it, multiple times, and I wish my car was as nice as yours but right now I don't have the time or money to work on it. I know how nice it is and the work that was done and that is why I wanted to buy it.
Second, 3200 miles a year isn't really that much. I also believe that is the most amount of miles you've put on the car in the past few years cause last two years were the engine project and then the trans project. I remember because you didn't want to order a torque arm until you decide what trans to leave in there. I offered you my t56 torque arm, remember that? Relax, I'm not talking bad about anything.
As far as the flipscreen, I've honestly never seen it closed. I don't know much about stereo or all that electronics stuff so I didn't know a regular screen wouldn't fit. I was letting the OP know that I know the car very well and like it alot but to check that one thing because it always had be thinking, does it close? Relax, the OP probably found another car, which I highly doubt was as nice, but good enough for him, and hopefully he is happy. I don't know how quick you are to sell it because I know the money invested in that thing. I'm sorry that I made you upset dude, relax and think, it's me you are talking to, you know I wouldn't want to tick anyone off, I'm on good terms with everyone, or at least try to be.
