I am Looking for an 85-90 Trans Am or GTA Project Car. I prefer no accidents and a CLEAN Title. Must be SOLID. Must also have T-tops and a TPI or Newer fuel injection system. I am located in the Buffalo/Rochester NY area, but will travel for the right car. Looking to spend $1-$2000 on it. Let me know what you have, and what it needs.

 

A good friend of mine has a pretty decent '86 T/A. It originally came from Florida and is still solid (no winters). IIRC, it's less than 90K. 305 TPI, rebuilt 700r4 (monster transmissions IIRC), new t-top seals, black paint and black interior that needs the seats reupholstered. Factory 16's and power windows etc. Needs a harmonic balancer (separated) and probably an IAC valve (kept stalling last time he drove it). I think he was looking for 1700 or 1800, I can get more info/pics if you're interested.

I talked to him, he was wanting $1700 for the car. It will probably be Sat before he can get some pics (daylight).

One other thing I remembered. The original rubber rear spoiler was getting pretty raggedy so we removed it and installed the smaller wing from an '85. He also has a very nice dash pad and tail lights to go with it.
