WTB: 87-90 TA or 91-92 Formula 5/6sp t-top
Hey All,
I've got under 6k in my build budget for a car. Here is what I'm looking for:
Requirements are:
v8
5 or 6 speed manual (if you put in a T65 already that's cool bro)
T-Tops
No Rust
Trans Am/GTA: 1987-1990 OR Firebird Formula: 1991-1992
either the stock 5.0, or a 5.3/5.7/6.0/6.2/6.2SC (yeah, I know no one is selling an LSA third gen for 6k, but I'm keeping my options open
)
I plan on doing a motor swap if its not already done.
I just don't like that 91+ Trans Am body flair they have going on from the door back.
The mileage is no that big of a deal, but I kind of want to avoid a body with 150k on it. You know the drill... looking for the best car I can get for the money.
The location matters not. I live in Minnesota and would have to fly/drive out and drive the thing back home.

Update: I'll be in the bay area the week of the 19th, flying through LA on the 24th. I would like to find something to drive home to Minnesota.
