So it's been forever since I logged in (been lurking)
I have decided to go back to school and get my ASE cert. As part of my course the school will allow me to use my personal car to rebuild. So I want to build a 3rd gen.


Im looking for running project somewhere between the $0.00 to $1,000 range, maybe a bit more. My only real requirements are near-ish to the 42050 zip code and that it runs, and stops.
Engine size, paint, interior, options etc...are completely open.
I'd prefer as little rust on the frame and around the windows as I can find. But that's pretty much it.


I'd also consider any of the following cars in similar condition and price.
1980-87 Buick Regal
1980-87 Pontiac Grand Prix
1980-85 Buick Riviera
1980-85 Cadillac El Dorado
