Firebird/Trans Am chassis
I'm looking for a Firebird hardtop chassis of any year but preferably as late a year as possible for the stiffer chassis. It doesn't need a suspension, engine, transmission or rear axle. It doesn't even need the fenders, nose, flip up lights or hood. I would like the hatch and some interior hard parts, as well as the wiring harness. Doors in good shape if possible but not necessary. It does need to have a good title though. As rust free as possible as well, I'm not building a drag car so I need the unibody in good shape.
Preferably the South and North Carolina area

Re: Firebird/Trans Am chassis
I am not building a kit car. I already have a convertible but it was in a accident, still drivable but I wanted a hardtop chassis to transfer my suspension and drivetrain into for the weight savings. I never found a bare chassis but I did find a complete hardtop for 1000$. It does need floor boards but I still feel like it was a pretty good deal. As it sits its 416lbs lighter than my convertible and thats before a aluminum LS T56 swap among other weight saving items.
