Posting here and hoping to locate my dad's Red '85 Trans Am. He was the original owner, and sold it to someone in 2009 around the Toronto/Mississauga area who kept it for a few years, then sold it in 2011 to someone in Newfoundland. I'm hoping to track it down. I've attached a picture. Let me know if anyone knows who the current owner might be, or if they've seen it!
Do you know the VIN? It's going to be pretty hard to track down without that piece of info. Best course of action is probably putting that into CarFax (or Canuck alternative?) to see when it was last registered and where.
I did the same thing tracking down my old car. Found it in a small county, then just posted on the county buy-sell-trade group on facebook until someone chimed in!
I have the VIN, and just got a carfax report on it saying it's currently registered in St.Philips, Newfoundland. I also posted on a FB page and found the guy that bought it directly from my dad in '09, and sold it in '11. He can't remember the guy's name, but suggests his name on this forum is nfboy. I just created my account, so I can't even DM him to try and contact him to see if he still has the car.

Well, his stated last activity on the forum was over 10 years ago, but tagging him here should at least send him an email.
Quick Update: I just found the current owner of the car in a Facebook Group. Looks like he bought the car off of @nfboy . I'd still love to have a chat with him as the car was in his car for over a decade! But I'll try FB for that too. Thanks for the help hunting @codyman125 !
