Okay this might seem silly, but I'm tryin' to figure out the pretenders from the real deals. On Ebay recently, I found a '85 california iroc?, and a special edition '86 Z28 commemerating the Z28 as a special model with black center's in the 15x7 rim's. Are these for real? If so how rare?

The California Iroc is real, although the one for sale on Ebay may not be one of them. The 86 sounds bogus to me.
Yeah, the '85 CA IROC was real, I believe 300 made 200black 100 red. As far as the '86, I've never heard of that one.
All 3rd gen Z28 models through 87 had black painted centers on the rims. The area around the lugnuts was painted black while the rest of the rim was grey. In 88, the Sport Coupe took that wheel as the base wheel and it was solid grey
