New springs new strust and shocks new brakes and I figured I should beef the rrar up some so Im getting a 3.27 posi rear from an 86 trans am it's a disc brake read mine was a drum ik in they bolt up I'm just wondering is there anything special I'm.gonna have to do with the e-brake. I hear the rear swap.is a fairly easy job with some air tools

Re: Rear swap questions!
I swapped a 1988 3.45 ratio 9-bolt with moraine disc brake rear for the 3.23 ratIowa 10-bolt drum brake rear end. I did not need to swap the proportioning valve, however I did have to swap the emergency brake handle and assembly from the 88. The older style e-brake has the ability to adjust the length of the cable at the yoke where it splits from one cable to two. Yours lacks that adjustment. I also swapped in new e-brake cables.
