Don't be surprised if you can't get even that fast, I have a few slips from when my car was new and I was in the low 16's. Man that 305 was a pig, but what it lacked in HP it made up for in longevity.

I thought the '91-'92 LB9/autos typically ran low 15's in the 1/4 mile stock. 16's? Can't be. That's more like LG4/LO3 territory there.

I think Alex ('92GTA) was able to run a 14.7 @ 95?MPH. That's with a completely stock LB9/auto and 2.73s.

He now has the original SLP "performance package" upgrade (runners, exhaust, headers, CAI, chip) and he's now running a 13.7 @104mph. Check his website for details.

That ain't no "pig" if you ask me.

What about a LB9 5-speed? (Namely, 89 Formula)
