Just got my PHS report back and....

The paperwork does indeed show that my car was ordered with recaros and a power drivers seat.I know there was a bunch of guys on here saying it wasnt possible but according to PHS that is exactly what happened. It doesnt really matter to me but i did want to clear this up.As far as i am concerned this car is just one of the 50,000 made that year.If anyone on here doesnt believe me i will be glad to prove it by the PHS report and the SPID sheet.Unfortunately i am not sure how much life the motor has left in it because it just drank 2 quarts of mobil one in about 600 miles ANyway just letting yall know.By the way,in case you dont remember this is the car that i posted a couple of weeks ago titled "Trans am barnfind".

Chris,

Glad to see you got the info, I need to order PHS docs myself but never got around to it.

In what respect does the PHS doc state the seat order? Do they proclaim RPO's or ??

I'm not familiar with the format of PHS.

BTW did you get your foglights to work? The parking lights have to be on for them to light up, if the headlights are on then they only work on lo-beam.

You are humble about your find, I admire your character! How about 1 of maybe 1 documented ! (Power seat Recaro)

Well I work for Golden Triangle Waste.I got a beat up formula with a 305 TBI.I had found it at Jerry Enis in Aberdeen.I come to Columbus pretty regular,I just don't come much in my car because the law is always watching to see if you will run a red light if it is yellow and they will say it's red.

Well jase my 86 T/A is no beauty queen either although it did clean up way better than the the original pics of it from a few weeks ago. Also very interesting is the fact that PHS shows that the car was originally sold from jerry enis in aberdeen.I thought about going over there and finding out if maybe there may be any paperwork left from the car but its probably a 1 in a million chance that they would have kept stuff from that far back.

Don,PHS was informative just not sure it was really worth the money. It showed that my car cost almost 20 grand brand new which is probably comparable to a new WS6 today. On the front page it breaks down all of the options and gives the prices. It shows on that fron page the car was ordered with option ac3 which cost $191.25 but no mention of the recaro seats option is on there. Then on the second page is the car order work sheet and highlighted on there among other things like the color and motor is the recaro seats.I thought it was strtange that the recaros dont show up on the page with the prices.ALso it tells me the build date etc, etc. But it does show the car was ordered from the factory with recaros and a power drivers seat which is also what my SPID sheet said.As far as the fog lights go i bought some off of the classifieds and they should be here soon and thanks for the compliment!Talk to u later chris.
