Door panels
I had an 87 firebird a while back that had nice door panels on it they were molded and a had a great contour to them. I just bought basically the identical car but it's an 88. this one has less intricate door panels. there is metal trim on them and the door pull just hangs out in space like the older models. Am I missing something? I like the formed door panels a lot better!

It could be that your 87 had a more deluxe interior. The panels are interchangable from year to year.

I've got the formed ones. However they need replacing. I have no idea where to find ones like them.
