Wahaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!
Yes! Finally did it! After 10 months of hard work we had our maiden voyage of our 1991 RS, complete with rebuilt 1977 350, Rochester Q-jet, T5 and NO computer! Was it quick? You bet it was!! Any faults I hear you ask? Not one! What did it feel like to drive an American Sports Car in the UK after a 3 year break away from them? F****in brilliant!! Now all I have to do is get the IROC-Z wheels polished and repainted and the car repainted.
The photo is the minute before it journeyed out for the first time in almost 2 years!! I had really forgot how torquey and powerful these cars are. What an absolute adrenalin rush to feel the power and the car pulling hard away from a standstill. And what about that exhaust note! Flowmaster 3” muffler at the rear and a straight pipe where the CAT used to be. Bear in mind that my daily driver is a 988cc Nissan Micra baby car! I’ve died and gone to heaven!
Not wanting to repeat myself too much, but, wahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

1977 350 in all it's glory!
Here's the 350 that now powers the car!
Goodbye and good riddance to the old 305!
Must be nice to be able to drive these cars everyday in the US. Green with envy!
Andy.
