It was suggested I try this board (from Body and Interior). I recently finished re-doing a red 85 FB 2.8 (black interior) and need help with the decals. Does someone have pictures to show me the proper placement and style (I have seen some 3rd gens with the sail panel birds not centred) of the 3 decals - nose and sail panels. I recently got 2 sail panel ones but have a feeling they are wrong (the body is black with clear outlining as opposed to black outlining and clear body). Also what is the size of the nose bird? I have seen some 3rd gens with a sail panel size on the nose. I am confused!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cant help you with placement, but my 85 S/E's sail birds are the black on the inside type, so yours could very well be right.

82FirebirdTA, Do you have the nose bird?? It is hard to see in that picture. That's perfect for the placement of the sails, thanks. Do you have or could you get close up's of the sail birds and nose bird so that I could better see the style??
