I think it is simply a display piece that you can put on your dash at a show. I don't think it is a sticker.

Never seen Van Nuys signage like that before. Thats pretty cool. I could use one of those. There was a similar one for Norwood that was found in the glovebox on the '69 cars.

Im going to say it is correct for our cars, due to the fact that it has that picture that says built by fisher. Anyone that has a thirdgen knows you look down on the door seal getting into the car you see that same exact insignia, but I am not sure if "built by fisher" was on any other year camaro's.

Here's a set on ebay for 70-81 Camaros. All Camaros have the insignia "Fisher" because they are all Fisher bodies.

scott, slightly off topic, but where is fisher body?

greenwood chevy is only about 35 miles from where i live. i know they're a pretty big car dealer, but didn't know they were into selling restoration parts as well.

cool. thanks for the link!

According to an article I found, the Fisher Body division of GM disbanded in late 1984. It was part of GM and was located at the GM technical Center.

All GM cars had the Fisher Body logo.

From http://www.gm.com/company/corp_info/...gmhis1900.html

1905
Cadillac produces the Osceola, a single-cylinder favorite of Henry Leland and the first step-in closed-car design. The body was built under the supervision of Fred J. Fisher (who later founded Fisher Body with his brothers) in the Wilson Body Company plant in Detroit.

1908
Fisher Body Company is incorporated on July 22, 1908, by Albert, Fred and Charles Fisher and located in Detroit.

reason i ask is i'm originally from mansfield, ohio. i remember there being a gm plant there, even took a tour of it in kindergarten (sometime in 1988 or 1989) but can't rememebr the name of it.
