While this doesn't discuss the history of the Camaro, it does show that GM still recognizes them and promotes them. I found a website that has pictures that you can order in different sizes. I figure that some of us would love to have reprints of the original GM photos. Take a look and happy shopping. Here's the link and a sample.

They sure got some nice pictures there.

Nice pictures. But, I have never seen the 1982 hood scoop (pictured) before. The center rib is too wide. 82-84 hood scoops had about a 1 inch rib down the middle.

I didn't originally notice the hood on the red car. It definately has a custom or a home made hood on it. I noticed the scoop area has a border, almost as if its a removable piece. Still a good source for some nice photos.

The red 82 used in the brochures was a pre-production prototype. That was one of the hoods that showed up on the pre-production cars.
It's not at all uncommon for a prototype to be used in the brochures, because more often than not, they are printed before production begins.
