How do you remove rear fold down seats ??

How do you remove rear fold down seats ??

Having a hard time removing the rear seat back-rest that folds down. Will one of you guys tell me how its done ? (87 T/A ) Thanks !!!!

Well since this would be better in body & interior, but I do not moderate this board.

Anyway... Remove the rear back seat bottoms, there is a bolt in the front of the seat cushon. Once those are removed its alot easier to get to the bolts that go straight up by the hinges on either side. in the corners...

pretty straight forward, and BTY, both split and single rear seats un-bolt the same way...

So... I won't have to remove any of the plastic trim ??? Sorry, but I figured that since I was restoring the car, this was the place to submitt. Thanks for the reply !!

Thanks for the info okfoz........I was in and out of the boneyard in 15 minutes with backrest in hand !!! 13mm socket and two nuts exactly where you said. Quickest trip in a do-it-yourself boneyard yet !!! Appreciate it !!
