I was following what had to be a 1986 (Hi Level Third Brake Lite gave it away), silver Camaro 'ss', It had the 'ss' letters on the bottoms of the doors, on the nose , and in the charcoal painted area of the sail pane. It was an old couple in the car, and the car looked well 'weathered'along with the decal package, I mean it looked origional. The next time i see it, i'll stop and take some pics and try & get to talk to the owner.
Was there ever an 'ss' made? or did this guy buy a butchered Camaro?.

The guy probably just threw so SS decals from a monte carlo on there. No, there was no SS from I think 73 untill 96.

'67-72 and '96+ were the only years for the Super Sport.
