What might the value of this be?

I'm supposing this thread might get tossed because my question is not exactly technical - I'll try to explain; who knows, it might hold some value for some else.....

When I bought my '89 IROC-Z a few months ago the owners threw in a full set of extreior original GM decals and badges for the car - full set meaning totally complete, GM parts, and in great condition. The only thing missing is the "IROC-Z" badge on the passenger side of the rear bumper. They are all in perfect condition and are completly correct for the factory color scheme of my car. I was told that the owner, who either owned the dealership where I bought the car (and originally ordered it in '89 - kind of neat) or was the general manager of it, always bought a full set of decals such as this for his cars knowing that one day they'd not be available anymore from GM.

I'm not interested in finding out a value because I want to sell them - I do not. I would just like to know what the full set might be worth AND what is the best way to care for them so they could be used if and when I repaint the car - don't want them to degrade etc.

Anybody know? If not, who might I ask?

Thanks,
K

I would go to the dealer and have them look them up. Many decals and badges are still available. I bought a red "Tuned Port Injection" badge last year. I think its part of the "Genuine GM Collision Parts" program.

Hey GMtech-

Thanks for the direction - if they are still available I might have been told a fib by the folks that sold me the car afterall - no biggie though.....

Hey, have you done much body work on these f-bodies? Can I pm you or e-mail you about a problem I "created" for my car with the front fenders? Let me know.

Thanks, K
