need quick whats it worth help
ok this car is 95% my dream car. 86 IROC 305 (carb) 5 speed, t-top, low mileage (90K). It being carb takes off alot of value in my book, but whats it worth? Also another whats it worth, 87 Z28, 305 TPI, auto, t top?

Visually, the L69 will have 2 intake snorkels as opposed to 1 on the LG4.
But the easiest ways to know for sure is to check the RPO sticker and the VIN.

thanks, thats is what i needed to know. What will the VIN tag say its its LG4 or L69? anyone have a idea of what its worth?

Being its an 86, my guess is this car is LG4 as there were few L69's produced this year.
If its a LG4, the VIN should read 1G1FP87H......
If its a L69, the VIN should read 1G1FP87G......
Also I believe L69 cars have "5.0 litre H.O." on the rear bumper and possibly the dash badge.
It's hard to say what they are worth without a more detail description of the car's condition.

both cars were real clunkers. the 86 has rust holes in the body lots of bondo and mismatched paint, and wouldnt run. his 97,000 miles had to be ATLEAST 197000. a real junker. then the 87 z28, it had matching paint but was very dull. dirty interior with stains from the leaky t tops, missing parts inside. he wouldnt take less that $1000 for it. Neither were inspection. oh well search goes on
