Never seen anything on any third gen site about these. My friend had one a few years ago and I just saw another one yesterday. Looks just like a berlinetta or a SC. I believe my friends was a 85 or 86 6cyl 5spd sunroof. I thought his was just some guy making his own badges for the car or something but it has everything in terms of ID. i.e. dash badge, rear deck lid badge, steering wheel badge. What are these cars? And no these weren't the same car cause my friends was in NY and was glossy black and the one I just saw was faded red and in FL.

Do a search. This has been mentioned many times before.

It's a regional package on the SC. Either a dealer or a group of dealers put certain options the base car and referred to it as the ZF. They were mostly seen in the Northeast. The one you saw in FL is more than likely a transplant from the NE. They were mostly seen in NJ, NY, PA.
