THinking of buying a 1992 Camaro Z-28, FULLY loaded, 5.7, T-Tops, auto, leather, bose, etc. Purple Haze black/graphite interior. Absolutely flawless and original (except Flowmaster cat back). THe car has 60,000 miles and looks like it has 10,000...seats have no creases. The dealership is asking $7,000...I know book is FAR below that, but the condition, mileage, and color is awfully attractive. I am pretty sure I can get it for $5000 (delaership has $4800 in it total)....

Is this a good deal. I am wanting to get it for my fiance to drive in nice weather and then maybe sell it if I see something else I like. I don't know the market for 3rd gens as well as other cars. Any input would be great.

If I get it, it will probably only get a couple of thousand miles a year put on it, and I will keep it all stock.

$6,500-$7,000 sounds about right for a car like that, if it's mint. Book value is BS.

 

$5,000 sounds good, $7,000 is a bit high, If you can get it for 5K I'd do it.
