seat belt stuck

Hello, I have a seat belt that sometimes after you pull it out to snap in, it won't pull back in ( the front seat belt ). It is a Firebird and I wonder if anybody else had this problem, does the dealer still warranty this? Thanks! Andy

Doubt they'd still warranty it, but you can just call up the local Pontiac dealer and check...

I have had this happen on several occasions. Just take the harness and slowly pull forward on it a little bit and the ratchet gear will release and retract the seatbelt.

Thats happened in my Z before. I just give it a few quick (not hard) tugs and it will slowly pull it back in. After that, its all back to normal. Happened 2 or 3 times last winter.
