"82" "berlinetta" taillights, different from the rest?

I talked to a junk yard and the guy said on his cpu that the 82 part # was diff from 83's and 84's. I haven't seen any other maro's with my exact taillights. I also haven't found another 82 berlinetta to compare it with, but it has actual trim down the center.
This is the piece i need except for the drivers' side.

Visually speaking, the 1982 and 1983 Berlinetta taillights are identical. There may be internal diffences I'm not aware of that make the '82 and '83 different.
You have the correct piece but its been painted. The panel between the license plate and backup lights should be argent (silver), the horizontal applique should be black with two gold stripes (raised areas).

yea, I know and they were gold and silver, I had to paint them cause of scratches and fading. I like the black better but now people won't know from the taillights that it's a berlinetta. small price.
So the 83 also had the trim in the center? the internals were all the same, I know that sc's and stuff (other maro's also) had a rubber tip on the place where the license plate would rest. Mine were straight plastic all the way through.
